Are you considering investing in Ventura?

California is known for having some of the most expensive real estate in the country and residential home prices in Ventura certainly reflect that. Market trends indicate a 2% increase in median home sales, indicating a stability and a healthy market. As with any larger cities, there are many styles and sizes of homes to choose from - from larger family homes in more residential areas to apartments that are close to the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. Since Ventura is a coastal town, some of the homes here offer great taking ocean views. The city is close to Los Padres National Forest which has over 1200 miles of trailers, mountains, rivers and beaches. There are four college campuses in Ventura, providing an available stream of student renters.

Learn about Ventura.

Officially named the City of San Buenaventura, the area was inhabited for thousands of years by native people and is set between two free-flowing rivers. The first mission there was founded in 1728 and the town grew. Today, the mission and the buildings that surround it are an important cultural, retail and residential district. The city went through Spanish and Mexican periods and some of the city’s historic architecture reflects these eras. The discovery of gold and the affordability of automobiles in the 1900’s led to a major real estate boom and the city grew steadily. As of 2017, it has an estimated population of 109,000 residents. Today Venture is a lively city with a well-balanced mix of urban and natural activities, with music venues, film screenings and a technology center that focuses on high-tech. Ventura’s residents also enjoy beautiful beaches and water activities like swimming, kayaking and surfing.
