Property Management 101

What happens during our introductory call?

During our sales process, we start with an introductory call to assess your needs, and answer each question you may have about the process, what renting out your home may look like, and what the best options for your home are.

Before this call, many potential clients are interested in how the call will be formatted, how they can prepare, and what they should bring to the call. Ultimately, this introductory call is a conversation for us to learn more both about you and your home, but also for you to learn more about Rincon Property Management, and the benefits of renting out your home.

What will we discuss during the introductory call?

There is very little that you need to prepare for the call, but there are a few things we will ask you. We will need to confirm the best ways to contact you, if that information has not been provided yet.

We will also want to learn more about your property. Do you already own this property, or are you looking into buying it? In some cases, potential clients are managing the property for a family member or loved one that are no longer able to care for it.

We will ask about the general timeline to rent that you are working with. Are you looking to rent the home out immediately, or a few months from now?

It is helpful to share who will all be involved in this process. Will it be you, you and a partner, or you and other family members? These are all details that can help us to best assess the situation, and provide you with the best information for your situation.

We also like to know if you have already rented out the home in the past, or if you have worked with, or are currently working with, another property management company.

What do I need to bring to the call?

Bring any questions you might have! We’re happy to address any questions for you during the call, and provide you with resources to answer questions even more in-depth.

We want you to leave the call feeling educated and empowered, knowing that you are making the best choice for your property and for yourself in the long-run. We are happy to go over anything you still have questions about, or may be unsure of.

What happens next?

After our introductory call, we will be following up with you. The next step is to set up an on-site consultation, to have one of our team members view the property in-person, and cover off on any remaining questions.

Once the call is complete, we are able to schedule the on-site consultation, share any additional details that may be helpful to you during this process, and begin discussing next steps in the process.
